I'm Irish and have been living in Urbino, a small Renaissance town in Italy, for the past twenty years. I teach English language. I've always been something of a seeker, and more recently a finder too. I've been doing the Holosync brainwave entrainment program for the past few years. A couple of years ago I became interested in Waking Down in Mutuality founded by Saniel Bonder, and underwent a significant shift while doing phone work with Ted Strauss, a teacher with WDM.

Wow! a 6-day Waking Down event, you've set the bar high. The idea for 09 for myself was to get some kinda major shift, or dare i say, even 'call off the search'. I think your pretty much guarenteed some kind of result if you go. Imho there is something totally key to being in the company of someone who is 'Enlightened' , makes it all seem more attainable. And they have a bit of record whereas there are plenty who havn't. That book I mentioned, Spirituality-the Damndest thing, talks about organisations that don't deliver i.e TM or even the Daists. They don't seem to be enlightenment factories so to speak. Lets face it the general idea is to get this done and not be chasing it in another 10 yrs; you hear stories of people running from guru to guru since the 60's.
Yes, I did the double Wednesday AM, Jo Dunning and Spero. I felt a shift with JD actually, sometimes it's more obvious than others. There was one time after a JD session that I could hardly stop myself from talking to people in the street,because there did,nt seem any reason not to. She does a Dna activation as well, which you usually have to pay for, but if you keep an eye on her she sometimes does it for free on one of those bi monthley calls or a radio show.
Yes, the Flowering is going fine thanks. This time round I took the option of having no affirmations and you can tell the difference. Its as if someone has stopped wittering on while your trying to meditate. I think I prefer it. As I said I took a few weeks break as the last couple cds of p4 really kicked my ass and I wanted to see just where I was without being pushed all the time. I think if we gave Holosync a miss for a couple of months we'd be suprised at just how chilled we'd be, but upwards and onwards!
The idea of visiting Arunchala actually was to bump into Mooji who seems to spend this time of year there. He's usually London based, but again likes his travels it seems. Check him out on show 10 of Never Not Here. He's got a bit of a following now(maybe to big?) I think now the idea might be to actually go see him in London and then go with him on his silent retreat next December, if nothing else it would be cheaper.
As for the Big Mind event, well I am going to watch the final dvd tonight and try and make a decision. I don't mind getting vulnerable but having a camera stuck up my nose at the same time seems......well. Jeez it's all down to cash really, the GBP has taken quite a hammering.I mean on top of all this I've got to find the next Mrs Freewilly and a pair of trousers that i can actually do up!

Yeah i'm the same with the energy stuff, but 'they' do warn you about people who rush around from Guru to Guru just to get hits.
Have not made it very far through the Bill Harris Big MInd set as yet, I'm a bit time restricted. But yes seeing them do it in person must make a difference i.e when he takes you into Big Mind ,it must be easier doing it sat beside Genpo. For all there friendliness and down to earthness you got to remember that there highly evolved spiritual beings.
The only 'Enlightened' person I've met face to face is a woman called Unmani, who I've seen a couple of times,check her out. I would go to see her more often but she likes her travels, currently in Australia I believe. I intend to do an intensive with her before she gets to famous, her meetings are pleasantly small affairs. The Truth is so obvious when you meet her.

Yep, i'm officially Flowering, did the first half hr last night.
Yeah, the timezone stuff with Spero is a pain. I go to bed and set my alarm and then go back to bed afterwards.
Maybe to save you another late night you can listen to jo Dunning doing her mass healing on News for the Soul,which is a radio station she appears on now and again. There are a couple programmes there which are dowmloadable I believe.
I'm working my way through the Big Mind dvd, I've got all the other ones available , and trying to decide if I should go to the London event in Febuary. Its been greatly financialy reduced due to the recession, which helps.
It's either that or going to india and sitting on Ramana Maharshi mountain .
Have you ever read Spirituality the damndest thing, by Jed Mckenna. I listened to it in audio book form recently and was impressed. Seems very popular, and yet no one seems to know quite who he is. Some say Adyashanti, but it woul,nt surprise me if it was Bill Harris knocking up a classic in his spare time to sharpen his writing skills.

Hope you enjoyed David Spero. I take it you found how to make the screen bigger and perhaps wearing ones Holy holosync headphones helps with the sound. He's upgrading to some new technology soon it seems.

No you don't have to sign up or anything,you might want to be on there mailing list though.
The watching of Daved Spero wed at 4am(best check the timezones,don't wanna get up and miss it) as it says, is not as difficult as it looks. You go to his website,go to schedule ,look for the Tuesday internet meeting,and click on that.
A page comes up with alink to click for davidspero.megameeting.com. Then you click on guest, which brings you to entering the meeting name, which is EnlightenmentGathering(allone word) and then after clicking next, you put in your name(they also lke where you are)i.e Pat in Italy, then press connect and your in, usually staring at an empty chair till the top of the hour when David appears. We then meditate for about 25 mins and then he speaks and is open to typed in questions.By the end of the session the energy is palpable.
I have been in at the meetings for about 10 wks I guess, and you quickly get the idea of what hes about. He said the other wk that there is no difference what so ever in meeting himm in person and the internet meeting,so basically your meeting with a full on Avatar each wk. He dos'nt seem to have any particular lineage that he speaks of but seems to have met many masters. I think he might have a Daist connection.
Anyhow hes got the whole shiva -shakti thing going on and seems intent on dragging ones sorry ass into the light.
Re the Goldman stuff. I don't think it matters too much if they are in mp3 or whatever, although there is an 18 page booklet with Chakra Chants which is quite informative.

Well things seem to have deepened for me in the past week or so, there appears to be a different sense of what oneness is. Hard to expalain of course but its as if all life has been superimposed on a river and you’re the wetness. The fabric that makes up me also makes up the rest, its all ‘That’. Previously I could’nt see this , its as if there has been a backward step (as they say) or even a walking through the gateless gate? I look for what was keeping me from realizing this and there was nothing there.
As I said I’d given holosync a miss for about 6 wks to see where I was with it ‘all’. Maybe this is where I am with it? Or maybe it was the Potentiation?Or maybe it was Adi da blessing everyone as he passed over, Or maybe the numerous other things I do? Not quite an integral life practice more a haphazard obsession.
Holosync, holistic releasing Absolute Freedom etc Sedona Method, listening to Adyashanti and Tolle and Gangaji ,Adi da, Gazing with the Bonders, qi gong, weekly internet satsang with David Spero, Potentiation, Jonathan Goldman, pulse technigue with jo Dunning, Big Mind, reading Wilber,past life regression.,paraliminals, hypnotherapy……the list goes on.
I do know quite a bit about the WDM guys. The price (financial) has put me off abit but its probably my next step as they know about Holosync and would probably be able to tell me if my search is near an end.
If your getting any Goldman cd’s I would suggest Chakra Chants, Holy Harmony or Medicine Buddha.
Have you heard of David Spero? He does a free internet satsang every Tues 7pm pacific time, well it would be 4am Wed in Italy. Check out some youtube vids,you can feel an amazing energy off him.

I learnt about the Potentiatian day from the centerpointe discussion board which I look at now and again and so I know a bit about you. To be honst I thought,' have you all got money to burn', but I could definately feel something during and after. I listen to Jonathan Goldman stuff quite often so the idea of it is not completely alien to me.
We have certain things in common it seems. I too am 47,live in England, and have been using Holosync since 2001, and will be starting the Flowering level in the the new year. Iv'e finished Purification but having a short break to see just where I am with it all.
Would be very interested to hear more about your experience with ted strauss and the wdm people.
