Hello, and happy equinox to everybody! For some time now I've noticed that as I'm starting to drift into sleep a voice will speak to me. This happens maybe a few times a month, usually I wake up after this happens and sometimes I just fall asleep. I can always remember it happening, but can never remember exactly what was being said. I do know it's always positive, life affirming things.
I've guessed maybe it was my subconscious or higher self speaking to me. The last time this occurred, a couple of nights ago was particularly attention grabbing. It was a man's voice speaking to me. And I remember what he was telling me seemed to be very profound, but I can't remember what it was for the life of me! I will add that I ALWAYS remember my dreams in great detail.
Has anyone else had this type of experience? I can't stop thinking about that man's voice speaking to me the other night.

Thanks for sharing your dream experience relative to your husband, Brandy. Powerful stuff. I, too, would choose to interpret my request in a positive light. "Home" could mean: health, enlightenment, peace, etc.
Kelly, your dream is so interesting! I just read of a similar experience in a book I'm reading. The author related the dream to a situation in her life regarding a decision she was making regarding her health. In her dream she was in a helicopter that crashed into the depths of the ocean. She had the choice to press a button to propel her up out of the ocean. I'm interested if to hear how you interpret this dream, if you wish to do so ;)
I also have another experience in between sleep and wakefulness to report. As I was drifting to sleep I was thinking about Jesus, and the message he came here to bring. When I reached an unconscious state I saw Jesus with his hands on my husband's feet. I said "Jesus, take him home." I immediately woke up and was terrified thinking I had just prayed for my husband to be taken to the other realm via death. Long story short, he is facing some major health issues. As time goes on I am choosing to view my request to Jesus in a different way. Maybe I meant 'take him home' to be take him to the truth that Jesus wanted humanity to know. To trust that he can heal himself, to release the fear being instilled on him by the medical industry. I can't really know for sure what that one meant, but it's been a little unsettling for me.
On a side note I did have a powerful sensation of my mother's presence during that half sleep half wakeful state. It felt very loving and as though it had healed the wound that has been between us since she and my father divorced. I imagine this sort of thing is quite common during regenetics. I'm currently 4 up in my elucidation.
This is a perfect example of a lucid dream, in which the dreamer realizes s/he is dreaming and is able to direct the outcome of the dream. Congratulations!
Fascinating, Brandy! Maybe it's indeed your Higher Self. It could also be an ancestor or some kind of spirit guide or angel ...
