By the time I reached my 30th birthday, I realized that this incarnation was never going to be one where I could deny the issues and life a typical East Coast middle class life. I had been dealing with chronic illness since birth which prevented me from actualizing my dreams. Growing up in a violent home,I had endured intense abuse of all types. Consequently, I never felt at home in my body or on the physical plane and have lived mostly connected to spirit and energy. As a survival method I developed the ability to feel the energies coming at me from people, places and things. Throwing myself totally into full time recovery was the only solution if I ever wanted to have a life, Traditional Western Medicine never really sat well with my body with more side effects than cures. Being able to clear my own energy is so important in order to feel good and stay centered. In 1995, I became certified in massage therapy and the alternative healing world opened up for me. Since then, I have explored many techniques including biotuning which led me to Potentiation. I have found that the combination of body and energy work with talk therapy has been the best combination for me to release the trauma and live a soul centered life. I received my Potentiation on Feb. 6 and it has really made a difference though it has been a short period of time. I am excited to be on this journey to find All That Is and how we all fit in the picture.
