My name is Melanie, I am a positive, fun person who always tries to find the good in a bad situation. I served 4 years in the US Coast Guard where I was lucky enough to travel to places I never dreamed, which gave me a new perspective of the world. About five years ago I was in an accident that left me with my back broken in three places, three broken ribs and two collapsed lungs. Needless to say I am lucky to be alive, I currently have two titanium rods and eight screws in my back and have dealt with a considerable amount of pain for years. This near death experience has changed the way I view life and everything in it and has helped me gain a unique personal understanding of mind, body, spirit and how my consciousness affects it all. Also, a few years ago I read a book and watched a movie called "The Secret", which discusses how our thoughts and feelings create our life. For the past few years I have utilized the information I learned from The Secret and I have seen my life change substantially. Before discovering Conscious Healing I was actively engaging in deep meditation because It was making me feel better both physically and mentally. I began to truly believe in conscious healing, but I began to think "there has to be other people out there who believe the same thing, or who have more information". So I began to search, while looking for books on Amazon.com I typed in "conscious healing" into the search bar automatically pulling this book and a few others I decided on Conscious Healing. After receiving the book I was thrilled to find that so much research had been done on the regenetics method and there was so much support including the authors personal recoveries. After reading the book I went to the website and clicked on the training tab where I saw a picture of the Taos Pueblo upload. This was surprising to me because I was born and raised in Taos, New Mexico and those mountains are the most familiar mountains in my life. This just solidified my need to experience the regenetics method in my life and perhaps become a facilitator.
