Croissant Diet (Reposted from Substack)

Thank you so much Sol, for mentioning Dr. Tom's A2 ghee. I had been looking for some a while ago, and couldn't find any. Or maybe I hadn't wanted to pay for the high shipping cost. In any event, it arrived yesterday, and felt sooo nourishing and so balancing. After I'm over my initial joy, I'll try adding a pinch of stearic acid. I tried the Sterculia Oil the other day, and its strange odor lingered with me. Any suggestions about that? It was kind of yucky. Maybe I took too much. Anyway, thank you! (And thanks very much for introducing me to Brad Marshall's great ideas.)

I hope this is the right group -- Talk about being a Luddite!

Yes -- thanks! I used my second-to-top menu bar's "find" option and it took me to a fairly lengthy section in the article you linked. It makes me feel better about the salmon packets I had ordered before listening to him, because he's not a big fan of salmon, but it does have astaxanthin! I also had occasion to talk to one of his people, and they suggested his alpha lipoic acid, that I then saw is in a kind of threesome of recommendations on his site. (The other two being stearic acid and sterculia oil.)

I believe this is Brad's article that mentions taking astaxanthin alongside sterculia (?). I didn't have time to re-read it and the search function isn't very good. This info might even be in the comments ... If anyone's interested and ends up locating this piece of data, please share ...

  • Yes -- just before meals. But now either my metabolism is too high to have a good long sleep at night, or I need to cut out my little bit of coffee again. So playing around.

Awesome! So are you taking the sterculia just before meals?

Here's my affiliate link to the ghee for anyone who's interested ...

    Dear Viewers,

Sol replied to this on substack, if you'd like to see what he had to say.

Update: The sterculia oil is fine now (I cut back on the amount, and worked back up) and the stearic acid is working great in ghee and coconut oil, too!
