Love & the Law of One

In reviewing Sol's recommendation to do the exercises (see page 259 in Potentiate Your DNA) suggested from the book, "The Law of One, I am having a challenge understanding how. Exercise One - "This is most nearly centered and useable within your illusion. The moment contains love. That is the lesson/goal of this illusion.. The exercise is to consciously see that love in awareness and understanding distortions. The first attempt is the cornerstone. Upon this choosing rests the remainder of (your) life experience. The second seeking of love within the moment begins the addition. The third seeking empowers the second, the fourth powering or doubling the third..(T)here will be some loss of power due to flaws within the seeking in the distortion of insincerity. However, the conscious statement of self to self of the desire to seek love is so central an act of will that... the loss of power due to this friction is inconsequential."

This is challenging to comprehend. Can anyone assist with further explanation?

That is the lesson to be learned and the goal to be realized in the human experience. The trick is to see that love clearly and understand the distortions that flow from it as having actually originated in love. This is the most important realization you can have. After realizing this, you begin to add to the power of love in your life. Sometimes your interactions with love come from a place of insincerity, and this doesn't exactly help your cause. That said, when you tell yourself that you desire to seek love in the moment, this act is so potent that it overcomes any and all obstacles."

I needed to read this. I am on Day 8 of Potentiation- (6-27) and my body went into mind boggling gerd and hiatal hernia, which hasn't ever been an issue. I've always focused materially for healing drink this, take that, etc. but what I realize is this digestive issue is forcing me to change my food/drink habits to a healthier way. Isn't that Love? Even sitting here feeling the discomfort and sleep deprivation, knowing that Love is here now, changes it all. Thank you
