Sealing Parallels

Hi Sol,

I found an intriguing parallel to Sealing in a book called Sign Language of the Soul by Dr Dale Schusterman,

which I've had for a long time.  I was looking up the Tree of Life Sefiroth referred in Conscious Healing under electromagnetic field centre 4 [which I'm happily charging through right now : > )] which is Da'at.  [also EM 4 relates to the Triple Warmer which Sign Language of the Soul has a good Activation for - there's also a youtube video demonstrating it]

In the chapter on the 10 Sefirorth it illustrates two Trees, one called the Tree of Perfection and One called the Fallen Tree:

"The Perfect Tree shows a symmetrical arrangement that indicates harmony, balance and the perfected relationship of the 10 Sefiroth.  In the fallen Tree Knowledge [Da'at] of the Ayn [roots] is no longer located at the throat level, but is is now at the bottom of the Tree as Malkuth, since it has fallen from its original location.  Knowledge of Oneness has fallen into materialism as long as we are under the illusion that we are separate from SaShem, our Source.  When we experience this union, Malkuth disappears, only to reappear in its proper location at the throat."

If you turn these Trees upside down there's more of a correlation to the Sealing the Fragmentary Body that you see in PYD p. 132 & 133.  And as we know traditionally the Throat or chakra 5 is resonant with the Sacral chakra 2.

From the same book in the Chapter the Tree of life:

"The Tree of Life is an upside-down tree with the roots at the top.  The Tree is manifest and therefore observable.  However, its roots are intangible.  These roots are the Source of Life and are considered to originate in a "negatively existent"  pre-Will and premanifestion state." [time/space ?]

  • Interesting indeed, Andrew!

Yes, the throat could almost be read as code for the second chakra, which is associated with creativity and self-expression ...

I've bookmarked this book to get my hands on when I have a chance to peruse it.

Thanks so much for sharing this. I have a feeling it could be very useful to my evolving understanding of the Fragmentary Body ...
